Hi! I’m Catalina, I’m 31 years old, and I live in Santiago, Chile.
I studied Computer Engineering at Universidad Mayor between 2013 and 2019, graduating in January 2021.
My professional journey began in January 2018, when I joined Sixbell as an intern. After the internship, I joined the team as a QA Engineer from May 2018 to November 2019. After a short break to focus on my studies, I returned to Sixbell in February 2020, this time as a DevOps Engineer, where I worked until January 2026.
Currently, I’m working as a DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer at Moofwd since February 2026.
I’ve specialized in DevOps, Kubernetes, CI/CD, infrastructure and configuration as code, observability, monitoring, and security, complementing my hands-on experience with certifications and courses.
In 2025, I earned the five Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS, KCNA, KCSA), which allowed me to join the CNCF’s Kubestronaut program, becoming the sixth person in Chile to achieve it.
My professional goal is to become a DevOps/SRE technical leader, combining my experience with industry best practices, with an emphasis on platforms, standards, and security, building environments that enable teams to work with autonomy and stability as infrastructure and operations scale.
